Make sure you update your password within both incoming AND outgoing server settings in your email app or program. We will now enter the username and password of your Gmail account in Outlook Express. The file appearing on your desktop with the filename, commonly known as a tilde, is a backup of your Windows Address Book. If you access your account on a phone or tablet, or in an email program on your computer (for example, Outlook Express, Mac Mail), you'll need to update your password in your email app or program. If you have more than one email address, choose the one you're changing the password for.
